Ants

ants in lawnAnts – you either love ’em or you hate ’em!

Although most of the time they are relatively harmless, ants are disliked by a large number of people.  They are not normally a huge problem until they start to create ant hills all over your lawn and this then generates an unsightly mess that lawn lovers would rather be without.

Ants do provide some small benefit to a lawn, however once the ant hills form give us a call.

Here at LawnRight we can advise you on what to do.  The simplest form is to get some good ant killer powder from your local supermarket or garden centre.  Then, take a sharp spade and slice down directly into the ant hill.

Once your spade is in the ant hill, move it back and forth until an opening forms, and the pour down the powder.  Remove the spade and close the ant hill.

Please do not pour boiling water on to the lawn as this will almost certainly kill off that section of lawn.
